Local Food
Toronto farmers’ markets are full of beautiful organic produce, varieties of fruits and vegetables that we rarely, if ever, see in supermarkets. For the food lovers among us, the attraction to these markets is clear simply from the perspective of quality. Using locally grown produce also fosters a sense of culinary appreciation and community. But these advantages are often forsaken due to the inconvenience of getting food from farmers and being able to buy dish detergent at the same time.
We use local produce whenever possible, because it just tastes better.
